Won a similar race over C&D last summer and held his form well subsequently. However, hit the buffers at Newbury last time out and will need to better that effort by some way to cope with topweight here.

Been in great heart in point-to-points lately - won his latest start in bloodless style to nicely set himself up for this, his Hunter Chase debut. Worth remembering that he was fifth in the Kim Muir at last season's Cheltenham Festival - a repeat of that sort of form would easily be good enough to land this. A leading contender here.

Won a hatful of races during his time with Willie Mullins but has not been see on a racecourse for quite some time now and his fitness has to be taken on trust. Also well beaten by Master Workman when last seen out and so faces a very stiff test here.

Was pulled up on his last attempt over C&D and has a bit to find with Mr Madeit if they both stay on their feet this time. Was second behind the same rival in this last year but does have a feasible chance of reversing the form on these terms.

Forecasts

Amigo (11/10), Man Of Steel (9/4), Mr Madeit (3/1), Master Workman (10/3), Laganbank (16/1)

16:00 Fakenham - 17 April 2017 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

A tight little contest can go the way of AMIGO, who has some really solid form over regulation fences to his name and will be very tough to deal with if he can capture any of his old sparkle. Mr Madeit and Master Workman fought out the finish in last year's renewal of this race and are the most appealing alternatives if the market produces a skinny offer about the selection.
  1. Amigo
  2. Mr Madeit
  3. Master Workman
