Landed maiden point-to-point on most recent outing and clearly arrives here in good heart. This looks much tougher though and is passed over unless betting indicates more expected.
Went off like a scalded cat before fading late on in Punchestown bumper last April. Made winning debut in point-to-point at Boulta in December, winning nicely, and could be open to more improvement.

Broke his duck at the seventh time of asking on most recent start in point-to-points, but this is a very different level and expected to find rivals too hot to handle.

Won Kirkistownpoint-to-point on racecourse bow last month. Represents very shrewd connections and appears well regarded. Expected to be in the thick of the action in what might prove to be a hot race.
Ran away with modest maiden point-to-point in Jauary but beaten at odds-on in only subsequent start. This looks a tough task and he may not prove up to it.

Off the mark at the sixth attempt in point-to-point last month. Overall profile suggests he will struggle in this company and hard to enthuse over.

Half-brother to a couple of decent hurdlers. Pulled up on pointing debut but has gone close in two subsequent starts, losing out by just a neck at Balinaboola last time. Still unexposed so one to keep on the right side. Represents top yard.

Won point-to-point at Boulta in November on third start having gone very close on debut in march. Should have benefitted from first race under rules when third in Gowran Park bumper last time out.

Looked an interesting prospect when bolting up by ten-lengths in maiden point on debut at Borris House in December. Hails from top yard and sure to know his job so has to be given a leading chance to make winning debut under rules.

20 lengths behind Fabulous Saga when fourth on racceourse bow at Borris House in December. Likely to improve considerably for that run and interesting that connections take the winner on again. Place prospects, at least.

Showed ability when third on recent debut in minor point event. Sure to have gained from the experience but may struggle to keep tabs on some of the more streetwise rivals.

Weakened quickly 2f out in Dromahane point-to-point recently having scored the time before. Latest effort has to be a concern and others make more appeal.

Landed Dromahane point-to-point on racceourse bow in December and not disgraced in better event when fifth in soft ground on only subsequent start. Better surface today may help but needs to imporve.

Distant third in five-runner maiden point-to-point on latest start suggests this will be a very tough task. Needs to improve out of all recognition to get involved at the busness end of the contest.

Plenty of unknown quantities in what might prove to be a dceent race of its type. FABULOUS SAGA looked very much the part when bolting up on his recent racecourse bow between the flags and should know his job. Danboru is a decent prospect who might give the selection something to think about, as too might Eviscerating and Double Portrait. Timmie Roe needs to improve but isn't completely ruled out of the equation.
  1. Fabulous Saga
  2. Eviscerating
  3. Danboru
