Represents top yard but showed nothing in two starts last term, finishing last on both occasions. Impossible to rule out improvement, but needs to find a great deal to figure at the business end today.
€90,000 daughter of Sharmardal who made pleasing debut at Cork in heavy ground earlier this month. Sure to have benefitted from the experience and should be veyr much in the thick of the action on this better surface.
Hard to enthuse over having been well beaten on only start last term and last on only start so far this campaign. Did show some speed before fading fast recently but may do better once handicapped.
Daughter of Elzaam makes her debut here and is related to a number of minor winners. Doesn't make a huge amount of appeal on breeding and yard going through a quiet spell at present.
Third to subsequent Group 3 winner and Group 2 placed Intelligence Cross on only outing at the Curragh last June reads by far the best piece of form in this race. Absence since raises concerns , but should be good enough if close full fitness.
Forecasts
Pious Alexander (8/13), Court Queen (4/1), Florida Times (11/2), Catamaran (7/1), Honour And Glory (25/1), See You In Malta (50/1), Elegant Emmeline (100/1)
PIOUS ALEXANDER represents the best form by far in this race and, as long as she is fit and well, she should prove too good for today's opposition. Catamaran looks the main danger having shaped with plenty of promise when 4th here a fortnight ago and can do better on this decent surface, while Court Queen is bred for speed and hails from a yard currently firing in the winners and making a great start to its first campaign.
