Finished his race off weakly at Cartmel last May and not seen since, so absence is a concern. First time tongue tie is applied as well and a watching brief is advised today, with handicaps offering a better chance of victory.

Originally with Aidan O'Brien on the Flat but didn't last long there, and has looked regressive for some time. Makes hurdles debut today and can only be watched.

Not completely disgraced at Thurles last time out, staying on steadily in the latter stages and giving the impression there may be something to be won over hurdles with her, but may be biting off a bit more than she can chew here.

No great promise shown in four starts to date and was well behind when falling at Downpatrick last time out. No realistic chance.

Did better last time out when encountering better ground for the first time in a while, staying on to finish a close fourth at Downpatrick. Drop back in trip here possibly not ideal, but if building on that, may be able to get in the places.

Has hd four runs in point-to-points, doing best on latest run when third at Ballyragget, but surely needs further than today's trip and is best watched.

Hasn't shown too much to date, looking a bit one-paced in races at Downpatrick and Killarney, but may do better for a return to likely better ground today. Still a lot to prove, despite that, and more likely winners.

Did much better last time out at Limerick, finishing third, and may have got closer but for a mistake three out. Wouldn't need to improve much on that to get involved here, and looks one of the more likely contenders,

Showed nothing on debut at Thurles in November and needs the first time tongue-tie to have a major effect here.
Finished fifth at Thurles on latest hurdles start, a run that hinted at better to come but has since been well beaten four times back on the flat at Dundalk. Needs return to hurdles to have a big effect.

Winner of a point-to-point at Borris House in February but little was expected for his bumper debut at Gowran Park and he finished tailed off. Can only be watched after that effort.

Placed in two point-to-points and debut effort at Limerick wasn't without some promise, but needs plenty more to get involved with the principals.
15
Horse silk

Well beaten on all three hurdles starts to date, although did a little better last time, but even so, looks one for handicaps down the line.

Some promise in a couple of hurdles in the French provinces when last seen, but that was last April and is best watched on hurdles debut for new yard today.

Horse silk
25/1
Well tailed off on latest two starts over hurdles and hasn't shown any real ability to suggest she's about to trouble the principals today.

HARDEN would have plenty to find with his stablemate Broken Soul on the figures but whereas the latter may be going the wrong way, Harden does at least seem to be getting the hang of things if his latest third at Limerick is to be believed. He may be worth taking the chance on to turn over his likely more fancied stablemate, who's second to Supreme runner-up Melon is looking a bit of a distant memory. It's possible he may turn things around form-wise but may have his own ideas about the game at present. The fight for the bronze can be won by Ballyhowne.
  1. Harden
  2. Broken Soul
  3. Ballyhowne
