Drops in trip and gets a hood in efforts to turn things around but it's now more than two years since he last won and six efforts over fences in the previous 14 months have all been disappointing.
Has had four starts over fences now and did somewhat better last time at Thurles over 2m2f, drops in trip for handicap chase bow, others looks more likely for win purposes.
Veteran scored a C&D success in May 2015 off a 3lb higher mark and recorded most recent success at Downpatrick last June. Mostly toiling in eight runs since and hard to fancy on form but is weighted to have a great chance on a good day.
Just the one win from 17 starts over fences, came at Down Royal in June 2015 (2m4f, good, good to firm in places) but has been running credibly this season and shouldn't be ruled out off sliding mark.
Gets in here off reduced chase mark, but has been a bit disappointing in latest efforts over timber and yet to win in eight attempts in this sphere. Has claims but likely to be opposable at the prices.
Has so far only managed to complete once in five starts over fences (beaten 61L at Punchestown in November) and most recent run at Thurles over 3m was very disconcerting when in trouble very early. Drops significantly in trip here.
Tentative signs of progress last time at Thurles over 2m on fourth chase start, makes handicap debut now off a fair mark and any traction in the market would be worth considering.
Teenager now and hasn't won since March 2014, struggled at Naas in December over this trip on return from almost a year off and since pulled up here over 2m5f on New Year's Day. First-time blinkers will need to work the oracle.
Made it 18 starts under rules without a win at Navan last month over 2m1f. Wasn't be any means the worst of four starts over fences but has something to find with Bellgrove on that running now with tongue strap added for the first time.

Dawerann is likely to be popular for the Elliott team given he gets in here off a reduced chase mark. His two most recent outings over hurdles have been a bit underwhelming and in eight starts over these obstacles he is yet to convince this is the job for him. For that reason, he is worth taking on now. This isn't a strong contest and so there's every chance BELLGROVE can capitalise and gain a second win over fences. He has been running credibly without winning this season and is weighted to hold every chance. Handicap debutants Floral Fantasy and Simiel are worth looking out for in the betting while Ballyfinboy could be a player if he turns up in the mood.
