Another going very much the right way, winning two out of three over hurdles this season, including a demolition of the useful Boagrius at Doncaster last time. Should be fine on the forecast ground and should be very competitive.

Official mark of 131 looks about right on his running with Catamarin Du Seuil over C&D in January and won over this trip on good ground at Exeter earlier in the campaign. Supporters have to hope that his last run was just a blip and at these weights he is probably the one to beat if back on song.

Failed to complete in two bumpers and well beaten on sole hurdles run at Exeter. Would need to improve dramatically to even get involved here.

Won a couple of point-to-points on good to soft before being well beaten at Fontwell (2m4½f, soft) on rules debut in February. Better ground may be in his favour as he tries to build on that today.

15:20 Wincanton - 5 April 2017 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

This looks likely to be contested by the top three, who are all very promising individuals and for today ANCHOR MAN can be the one to come to the fore. He is forgiven his latest below par effort and look favoured by the weights. Solighoster and Thumb Stone Blues would hardly be surprise winners themselves and it will be interesting to see which of them can show the greater progress today.
