First appearance on the polytrack and in a handicap for this horse who won at Goodwood last summer. Must overcome an absence now but there could be plenty of improvement to come.

Makes the switch from claiming company to handicaps, but this is clearly much more of a challenge than the race he ran well in at Lingfield last time. Place claims at best.

Eight race maiden but has shown some ability during those races, including when second at Newmarket last time out. An interesting contender on his seasonal reappearance.

Was impressive when winning over C&D last month, staying on to take it close home. Makes her handicap debut here as an unexposed filly who could continue to take big steps forward.

Hasn't shown much in maidens and nursery races so far and switches to the polytrack for the first time here. Others hold more convincing claims.

Gelding operation seemed to have done the job when he won at odds of 7/1 at Lingfield last time, having shown only modest form as a juvenile. Player if building on that.

May have needed the run when eighth on first run after an absence at Wolverhampton last time. Still could struggle here, but should at least put in an improved performance..

Seeing Things74

One of the more lightly raced competitors in the field, but also one of those who has shown the least on form, and is best watched on handicap debut.

Few of these would a massively shocking winner of this, but perhaps MITIGATE can provide the answer. She is probably the most consistent of these and won impressively when breaking her maiden tag last time out. Preobrajenska is a filly with a similar profile and as a C&D winner must be respected, as well as Gala Celebration.
  1. Mitigate
