Well beaten in both starts so far and now stepped up further in trip, which pedigree suggests will be stretching his stamina too far. Best watched until going handicapping.

Not discernible improvement in three starts to date, but the most recent of those was his hurdling debut at Chepstow. May come on for that today, but on the face of it he looks to be another who will be seen to best effect in handicaps.
£70,000 purchase who has not yet begun to recoup that outlay, including in two similar contests over slightly shorter trips. Best watched until handicapping unless there is a swaythe of market support for him.

6/1
Point-to-point winner who went close in a Southwell maiden hurdle at the first time of asking but has pulled up and then been comfortably accounted for in a novices' contest since. Should do better back in this grade, although suspicion is that he prefers a sound surface.

11/4
Point-to-point winner who cost £35,000 and is related to winners from 2m-2m4f. Encouraging signs on hurdles debut at this level at Lingfield when runner-up over 3m (good to soft). Forecast conditions here should suit and any improvement would make him a leading player.
7

Went backwards from his bumper debut to his second run at Southwell, which is a concern. Hurdles debut for him today but looks best watched for the time being.

Quiet debut at Exeter last month when never in it over 2m2½f. Dam was the useful staying chaser Kittenkat, who won over 3m1f and stayed further, so today's step up in trip looks a positive, though may be waiting for handicaps to show his hand.
£26,000 buy who is related to Hennessy winner Madison Du Berlais and showed a bit of ability in a similar race at Lingfield last time (2m3½f, heavy). Longer trip taken as a positive and looks one of the more likely types for today.

Nice enough hurdling debut in maiden company at Uttoxeter in December when 3½L runner-up (2m4f, heavy) but disappointed next time at Exeter. Has had a break since and no reason why he can't continue to progress again.

Half-brother to the 2m4f and 3m chase winner Midnight Mustang out of a point-to-point and 3m hunter chase winner, so this step up in trip looks a good move. However, he has shown very little so far and is another likely to do better in handicaps.

11/4
Runner-up in a strung out field at Uttoxeter last time (2m7½f, heavy), which in the context of this race is very solid form. If he can build on it over slightly shorter then he is entitled to be thereabouts.

Debutante at this ripe old age. Plenty of stamina on sire's side of pedigree, though dam was a moderate 1m4f Flat winner who was an ordinary hurdler. Very much one to watch.

100/1
Well beaten in all starts to date and very little positives to draw upon. Given her inability to complete in three of her last five starts, that would be something to aim for here.

Rated 50 when taking a Flat handicap at Chepstow in 2015 (2m, soft), so stays well enough. However, pulled up in a similar contest over C&D almost a year ago and not seen since. Watching brief advised.

13:50 Warwick - 30 March 2017 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

A modest start to the afternoon, where there are unlikely to be many involved at the finish and the suggestion is FORGETTHESMALLTALK, who showed enough last time to build on with a win here. Burrows Park looks a leading danger, while Longtown, Mr Love and Hogan's Height can all be involved in the shake-up.
  1. Forgetthesmalltalk
  2. Burrows Park
  3. Longtown
