Back on his last winning mark today and also scored over C&D last spring. Didn't do badly over a trip that was inadequate last time, hinting at a possible return to form today.
Beaten favourite over fences last time and has won two chases at around 2m4f, but switched to make his British hurdles debut here, having won over them on his sole French start four years ago. Looks well in on his chase form and if he can hurdle efficiently then he has claims.
Has been threatening to sneak a win and did so here last time over 2m2½f. Back up 7lb as a result and with 10lb claimer retaining the mount you couldn't rule out a follow-up, though he has never previously managed to string two wins together.
Has been looking likely to collect his maiden win, but runner-up last twice and has gone up in the weights 8lb as a result. Trip and forecast ground no problem, though he will need to find more to be winning from this mark.
4lb higher than when winning a handicap hurdle over C&D (good) last May and didn't run too badly in either start in January. Should be better for some spring ground again and not ruled out.
Returns after a break, having been well beaten here from today's mark when last seen in November. Had won back-to-back races before that at around 2m4f, with a break in between them, so we know she goes well fresh and has champion up.
Has won three times around here from four career successes, though the last of them was four years ago. Never yet won a handicap, but assessor has given her a chance today and with first time visor a probable positive (has run well in cheek pieces), he could go close.
Forecasts
Future Gilded (9/4), Wake Your Dreams (9/2), Bowie (9/2), Popelys Gull (6/1), Grey Monk (8/1), Zara Hope (8/1), Moidore (14/1)
An interesting contest where WAKE YOUR DREAMS might be able to find the necessary to win his first handicap contest in a first-time visor. Moidore should be thereabouts if he can perform to his optimum, while Future Gilded and Grey Monk should also be in the shake-up.
