Impressive winner here in December over 3m. Did not beat a great deal then and had a stiff task when chasing home the subsequent Kim Muir third last time. This looks easier and he has to enter calculations.
Winner of a minor race at Wetherby in November and has run some excellent races in defeat since. Jumping has let him down of late and these easier fences will help. Cheekpieces are now tried for the first time.
Came to hand around this time last year. Has struggled to match his hurdling achievements over the larger obstacles in the face of some stiff tests. Handicapper has set him an easier task and ground conditions are more suitable.
Poor hurdler who has been pulled up in his last four point-to-points. Looks a real test of his trainer's skills.
Winning hurdler who has dropped to a BHA rating of 76. That leaves him with a lot of improvement to find.
Moderate point-to-pointer who has been well beaten in all starts to date. Makes chase debut and stable companion makes far more appeal.
Placed in a couple of point-to-points and makes chase debut. Ran away with two novice hurdles in the autumn before chasing home the useful Project Bluebook last time. Official rating of 134 over hurdles gives him an outstanding chance if able to run near that level.

MISTER KIT is favoured by the conditions of this and the 7lb he gets from The Dutchman could be decisive. Chris Grant's charge was a wide margin of a couple of minor races in the autumn before producing a career best to chase home the useful Project Bluebook last time. Well suited to good ground and possessing point-to-point experience, he looks the one to beat. The Dutchman will ensure the selection has no easy task but his jumping has cost him dear and he can ill afford mistakes in this. Ash Park will appreciate the better ground having struggled in heavy conditions last time but faces a stiff task at the weights.
