Disappointing that she hasn't managed to get her head in front since her first two wins (one here) but knocking on the door of late. String of placed efforts suggest she's not particularly well-handicapped but this jockey could suit her well and she may be tough to peg back if she gets away on the front end.
Threatened to score on all five of his starts last season and interesting to see which way the market goes on return but booking of this jockey would suggest a big run is expected.
Formerly with Aidan O'Brien in Ireland and has been disappointing since that switch, unplaced on three starts. Best performances have come when front-running and he looks feasibly handicapped on some of his form but needs to bounce back from several poor runs on these shores.
In flying form since joining this yard and may not have finished progressing yet after a comfortable win here last time. 5lb rise manageable and jockey has been in good form this season. Should go well again.
Sprang a 100/1 shock earlier in the month and duly followed up last week at the same course. Needs to prove he can be as effective around here but claims if acting on this surface and adept at front-running so should make a bold bid.
Just one win from 11 starts on the AW and has a significant absence to overcome. Looks up against better handicapped rivals here and may be of more interest on next start.
Forecasts
Mariee (2/1), Kenstone (3/1), Archimento (4/1), London (5/1), Hammer Gun (8/1), Duke Of North (12/1)
Ultra competitive affair for a six-runner contest and Mark Johnston's Marlee should make a bold bid from the front. There's a good chance he will get on well with Franny Norton but narrow preference is for HAMMER GUN who scored with something in hand last time and may be able to cope with his penatly. Kenstone is another in great form and should go well again for Hollie Doyle.
