Half-sister to a couple of minor winners and bred to get a little further than this, though the fact that he starts over this far might suggest that he has not shown a huge amount of zip at home. Market check advised to gauge confidence.
Debutante who cost 65,000 GNS as a foal and €130,000 as a yearling. Was withdrawn from the ring in February. Pedigree suggests that this is a reasonable enough starting point in terms of trip and again a market check is advised.
Third in a 7f maiden here on sole start when showing some signs of greenness. Will improve for that experience, though not sure that this extra furlong is what his pedigree suggests he will need.
Half-brother to French Group 3 and Listed winners at 1m2f and 1m4f and this trip looks a good starting point. Yard not had many runners of late, though with jockey claiming an attractive looking 7lb in this he may be able to make a competitive effort on debut.
Disappointed when last seen in September, though has been reasonably consistent in three runs before that. Tries the Polytrack for the first time here and looks a player if tuned up for this return.
Forecasts
Bless Him (4/9), Mr Tyrrell (5/2), Gunmaker (12/1), Island Brave (14/1), Lord E (50/1), Moorea (66/1)
The David Simcock-trained pair should be checked out in the market here with Gunmaker likely to prove the better on paper at least. Island Brave can't be ruled out if building on his previous run here and Moorea is well-related and interesting. However, MR TYRRELL has knocked on the door more than once and looks to have the right opening today.
