Fair breeding but one to watch having failed to make much impression on bumper debut at Punchestown in January.

Fair breeding but one to watch having failed to make much impression on bumper debut at Punchestown in January.
Yet to impress in five starts under rules, including two prior runs in this sphere and now switching back from hurdles.

Horse silk
25/1
Has some claims on pedigree, wears cheekpieces for racecourse bow and best watched in the betting.
Westerner mare makes first appearance here, trainer doesn't have a terrific record with bumper runners.
Eighth of nine on debut at Leopardstown in January, needs a good deal of improvement to land the spoils here.
7

Fruits of Love mare makes some appeal on breeding, market can guide expectations levels.
8

Third in a Leopardstown bumper in January, building on debut effort, probably sets the standard of those that have run.
Failed to beat any of her 14 rivals home at Punchestown last month on racecourse bow, losing touch very quickly and walking home.

September Storm filly sports a hood for this racecourse bow and would need some market support be enthusiastic.
14
Horse silk

Gold Well filly is a rare bumper runner for this yard of late and they haven't enjoyed much success.
Yeats filly is one of the more likely newcomers and merits a look in the market.

Bought for €18,000 but didn't offer much on debut at Fairyhouse in January, needs a sizeable step forward on that effort.

No match for Cheltenham Champion Bumper winner Fayonagh at Fairyhouse last month, finishing in midfield, should improve on that run.

SIMONE possesses the pick of the form in the book and that may be worth trusting unless the market speaks loudly in favour of a newcomer. She finished third at Leopardstown in January on second outing, having been behind Carter Mckay on debut. Another step forward should ensure she takes home this prize. Ratoute Yutty was a fair way behind Champion Bumper winner Fayonagh on debut but ought to be capable of improving and is best of the others with experience. Newcomer Moyhenna makes some appeal on paper but stable form is a concern while Love N' Peace and Peggy's Acre are others worth a market check.
  1. Simone
  2. Ratoute Yutty
  3. Peggy's Acre
