Has unsuccessfully clashed with Foxrock in two most recent outings under rules, won a point-to-point in good style earlier this month and should give this a proper go.
Ran well for a long way in this contest last year before finishing third, hasn't run since April but could be involved again.
Unsurprisingly proved no match for Foxrock last week, took second and has four wins this season already, three in point-to-points and one under rules at Wexford in November. Big player but sometimes let down by jumping.
Nine-year-old comes to the racetrack for the first time, ran his best race in five point-to-point last month to finish third. Has plenty to find here.
Without a win in 14 career starts, nine of them under rules. First try in this sphere but others readily make more appeal.
Mare claimed her sole point-to-point win in May 2015 and has been patchy, at best, since. Hard to find any reasons to be confident today.

Maple Mons and QUIET ACCOUNT look the two to focus on in this contest, with marginal preference for the latter. Both have come off worst in clashes with Foxrock this season, Maple Mons finishing 13L second to Ted Walsh's charge last weekend at Gowran Park. That form might be good enough for this but it is a quick turnaround and with jumping sometimes an issue, he is passed over. The selection scored a nice point-to-point success on the opening day of this month and is taken to follow up. Of the remainder Hasty Times, third in this race a year ago, looks best equipped to pick up scraps despite being off the track since April.
