C&D win in a similar contest on heavy ground in February was by 8L and looks good in the context of this contest. Also went well in defeat in a mares' handicap here last time over 3m and looks very tough to beat.
Showed promise in her debut bumper, though not quite as hot in two runs since. Yard often does well with its mares and hard to believe that there is not more to come, though clearly has a little to prove at the moment.
Failed to threaten in five starts on the All Weather and now switched to a new yard and a new discipline. Pedigree suggests that she is not certain to stay this far and looks best watched first time.
Well beaten in a bumper and pulled up on her hurdles debut at Ludlow in January. Stamina should not be an issue, though very much one to watch at this stage.
100/1 and tailed off sixth of seven on debut at Huntingdon recently and yard not red hot at present. Yet another to keep an eye on for potential future wagers, though can't recommend this time.
Forecasts
Socksy (1/12), Alameda (9/2), Civitesses (16/1), She Told You So (33/1), Sea Rebelle (33/1), Wataguddo (40/1)
A very weak contest indeed and in spite of her penalty this really ought to be a penalty kick for SOCKSY, who is the only one in the field with any sort of form and should be way too good. Little else appeals, though Alameda comes from a yard that makes an impact in this sphere and may be the one to chase home the winner.
