Has come back from a break in good form, going close at Wolverhampton before winning at Lingfield last time (1m2f) from a 4lb lower mark. Shaped as though there could be more to come then and entitled to plenty of respect.

C&D win from a mark of 90 in April 2015 was his last success, Has not raced much since then, also being tried over jumps without success. Changed yards before last run, which did not scream that a return to the winners' enclosure is imminent.

Has dropped to a mark 3lb below when last winning, at Newmarket in May last year (1m, good to firm). Sole All Weather win was at Wolverhampton three years ago, though he has only had five such starts. Despite this more attractive mark, he didn't really show enough last time to have us beating a path to the bookies' door.

Winner twice at Deauville over both 6½f and 7½f, though not torn up any trees in two Kempton handicaps since moving to Britain. This mark is beginning to look more workable, though pedigree suggests that this marked rise in trip my not be ideal.

Went close to winning on only previous run here, from 11lb lower in December 2015. Has clearly improve since then, winning three times on both turf and All Weather. Not quite able to cut it from 2lb higher and over 2f further in three recent runs, but a better effort now would be no surprise.

A tale of steady improvement by this gelding for both Ed Dunlop and his current trainer, for whom he won two starts ago at Windsor (1m2f, soft). That was from 2lb lower and will need to see much more from this mark than when last seen at Kempton in December if he is to win again. Blinkers swapped for visor.

Won over a mile here this time last year and starts from 1lb higher today. Gelded before last start, which could have been a sighter for this and not ruled out now switched back to this track.

Consistent performer at trips from 7f to 1m2f in the past year, winning on three occasions. Best All Weather form has been at Southwell and perhaps goes better when conditions are slightly slower than they are here, although has run well at this venue. Held from this mark last time.

Won at San Moritz last time over a mile and has winning course form over that trip here too. Stays 1m2½f, though of most concern is his current mark, which will make a follow-up success difficult.

Won over 7f and 1m for Sir Michael Stoute way back on 2014 and ha clearly had problems since, returning from 29 months off the track to run down the field at Kempton last month. Now back on a winning mark, though would advise a market check to gauge any confidence over whether he retains this sort of ability.
