The thriving Poetic Force performed heroically to repel the challenge of SHAMROKH in a ding-dong finish between the pair at Wolverhampton last month but, of the duo, it would appear that John Gosden's expensive colt appears to have the most scope for improvement and he can reverse the form in the hands of Frankie Dettori (only ride) with blinkers introduced.
