Good effort to beat three better fancied opponents into second, third and fourth at Musselburgh last week (2m3½f, good), for which she is up 5lb. Has won on heavy and not that long since she was runner-up from a mark 6lb higher than today's, so has stronger claims than most.
0-18 career profile, making the frame on eight occasions. Has run well on soft and heavy ground, though best form on a more sound surface. Has been unable to win from this mark before today and clearly vulnerable.
10lb higher today than when winning here over the extended 3m in November (soft). Has run with credit three times since in defeat from similar marks to today's. Switched back to hurdles after trying fences last time and not sure this drop in trip is ideal for her.
Up 5lb for a heavy ground Sedgefield win last time (2m4f), which was her first for almost three years. Has struggled to cope with similar handicap marks several times before and looks one to take on this time.
CV shows that she is 1-14, though the positive there is that the win came here (3m½f, soft) in a maiden hurdle. Has not been able to come up with the goods from similar marks over both fences and hurdles in the past year and no obvious reason why she should improve at this age.
Forecasts
Lochnell (11/8), Spring Over (7/2), Alizee De Janeiro (4/1), Bollin Julie (6/1), Knocklayde Sno Cat (8/1)
A pretty moderate contest where ALIZEE DE JANEIRO has more going for her than the rest of them and therefore gets the vote to follow-up here Musselburgh win. Lochnell is not certain to be suited by this drop in trip but will surely pick up some prize money, while Knocklayde Sno Cat can probably also make the frame yet again.
