Fly Camp33
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-12| J: N de Boinville| T: N J Henderson| OR:  133
9/2
Winner of two of his four outings over hurdles so far including at Exeter a month ago. He had a previous winner back in second on that occasion and should appreciate the forecast going here. Likely to go well off top weight.
2
Horse silk
28/1
Useful hurdler but well beaten at Cheltenham in November and pulled up over fences in handicap company the last twice. Runs off the same mark that saw him finish second at Aintree in November but needs to put those recent disappointing efforts behind him here.

Knight Of Noirp,t21
Age: 8|  Weight: 11-12| J: James Best| T: N P Mulholland| OR:  133
25/1
Beaten a minimum of 20L in three outings for this stable since returning from a long absence this season (all over fences). Pulled up when last seen out here last month and a bit to prove returning to hurdles here.
4

Shaama Griseh21
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-11| J: T Scudamore| T: D Pipe| OR:  132
9/1
Winner over hurdles in her native France and successful at the second attempt in a handicap at Chepstow on soft ground in January. Finished runner-up off a 4lb lower mark at Exeter last month and steps up in trip here.,

Chase End Charliep29
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-6| J: Aidan Coleman| T: T Lacey| OR:  127
16/1
Winner at Wincanton over this trip when wearing cheekpieces for the first time in January but well beaten off this 5lb higher mark when upped to an extended 3m at Doncaster last month. Had been out of form prior to that Wincanton success and out to prove that wasn't a fluke here.

Kayf Adventure24
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-2| J: R Johnson| T: P Hobbs & J White| OR:  123
5/4
Stepped up on Kempton debut when winning a five runner bumper at Warwick in March 2015 but off the track for over 20 months prior to finishing third behind a classy looking novice at Exeter in January. Made no mistake at the second attempt over hurdles at Fontwell last time out and remains unexposed as he contests his first handicap event.

Billy Bronco52
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-2| J: Adam Wedge| T: Evan Williams| OR:  123
5/1
Bought for £110,000 having won a bumper at Towcester for his previous yard and successful at the third time of asking at Ayr over an extended 3m last time out. Drops back in trip here and interesting on handicap debut.

Midnight Sapphiret73
Age: 7|  Weight: 10-13| J: Nick Scholfield| T: V R A Dartnall| OR:  120
14/1
Successful twice at Newton Abbot in October and finished runner-up on her last three visits to the track. Versatile in terms of trip but has been racing in mare only races recently and interesting to see how she fares in open company on this likely softer ground.
9
Horse silk
Ossie's Dancer29
Age: 8|  Weight: 10-10| J: Tom Cheesman(5)| T: Martin Smith| OR:  117
20/1
Well beaten at big prices in two outings since returning from nearly 18 months off the track this season. Handicap mark is now 9lb lower than for his latest success at Plumpton in May 2015 but ground likely to be softer than he'd prefer here.

Forecasts

Kayf Adventure (5/4), Fly Camp (9/2), Billy Bronco (5/1), Shaama Grise (9/1), Midnight Sapphire (14/1), Chase End Charlie (16/1), Ossie's Dancer (20/1), Knight Of Noir (25/1), Goodbye Dancer (28/1)

15:40 Sandown - 10 March 2017 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

FLY CAMP can defy top weight by taking this competitive looking handicap hurdle. The selections yard was successful in this event in both 2013 and 2015 and he appears to be an improving horse and can make a winning handicap debut here. Kayf Adventure is another handicap debutant and having justified odds-on favouritism he is taken to get the better of the ex-French mare Shaama Grise in the race for second with Billy Bronco another to take note of in this.
  1. Fly Camp
  2. Kayf Adventure
  3. Shaama Grise
