Reasonably consistent performer and won his third chase from eight attempts at Kempton last time (3m, good to soft). Raised 7lb for that and balance of his form suggests that he will be hard pressed to find that improvement, especially over this longer trip.
Arrives chasing a hat-trick after success over both hurdles and fences in January. Has gone up 13lb as a result. Has never previously won from a mark this high, though is unexposed at this trip and couldn't confidently rule him out. Best on soft ground.
1-13 over fences with just a Warwick win a couple of years ago to his name. Handicapper currently giving him his best chance of success since then, though he is still 5lb higher. Acts well on soft ground and more than likely to stay this far.
9lb lower than when winning a marathon Sedgefield handicap hurdle (3m3f, good) in September when with Jonjo O'Neill. Handicapper is now giving him a chance over fences, where he is currently 0-4 and he is not ruled out.
Has won seven chases at up to 3m½f and goes well with cut in the ground. Two of those wins were from today's mark and he showed last time that he stays an extreme trip, so plenty to like about him going into this.

Forecasts
Wood Yer (5/2), Court Frontier (11/4), Blameitalonmyroots (3/1), Cyclop (7/2), Silver Man (6/1), Goulanes (7/1), Lord Heathfield (8/1), Optimistic Bias (10/1), Ganbei (14/1)
Cyclop looks capable of running a big race here along with Optimistic Bias, who has been given a chance by the assessor. Court Frontier and Lord Heathfield are others who should go well, though for the win we favour WOOD YER, who is back on a winning mark, is likely to have conditions to suit and ran well over a similar trip last time.
