Bolted up at 66/1 on debut and no doubt he's the most exciting prospect in the line up after making it two from two last time. Likely to take all the beating provided he handles conditions.
Looked like a very exciting prospect and duly scored on hurdles debut but old demons have returned and he's refused to race on his last two starts, something which he had done earlier in his career; hard to recommend on that basis alone.
Won on debut at Tipperary in a straight-forward victory but failed to follow that up at Punchestown and he made several jumping errors last time. Trainer and jockey have a good record when combing (24.4%) but they look like they have their work cut out in this race.
Consistent type with more experience than plenty in here and drop back in trip ought to suit. Has more experience than plenty of these and he'll be there to expose any frailties in the opposition.
Looked good winning a Cork maiden hurdle at the end of last year but he's disappointed as a favourite/second favourite on three starts since. Form of his Cork win hasn't really been franked and possible he's not quite as good as first appeared. Cheekpieces reached for and tongue-tie retained.
Consistent sort and finished second to Augusta Kate in a Listed bumper at Punchestown last year. Struggled on only previous against the boys though and she needs to prove she can mix it at this level.
Shade disappointing in a Grade 3 last time and hood needs to help her settle. Still very much unexposed but this looks a tough step up.
Forecasts
Any Second Now (10/11), Joey Sasa (5/1), Forge Meadow (6/1), Peace News (7/1), Pravalaguna (10/1), Labaik (12/1), Conrad Hastings (25/1)
ANY SECOND NOW will be hard to beat provided he can handle the forecast heavy ground. However, if a lack of experience gets the better of him, Joey Sasa will expose any floors in his make up and Labaik is dangerous to rule out but difficult to recommend after his recent antics at the start with two recent refusals to race.
1. Any Second Now
2. Joey Sasa
3. Labaik
