A game and consistent mare, who will be making her 120th visit to a racecourse if she stands her ground. She is one of the more likely pacesetters and can at least help to cut out the early graft. However, this is a tougher race than the won she landed at Kempton at the start of this month, so she needs a little luck on her side if she is going to add to her tally. That said, she's in good heart and, as a previous C&D winner, she has to be respected.

Plenty to find with Welsh Inlet from their recent encounter and hard to see the form being reversed. The fitting of blinkers for the first time looks to be something of a final fling in an attempt to revive his interest.

Just 1lb out of the handicap but her very modest level of recent form of late makes it difficult to lay out a constructive case in her favour.

Just one win from 35 starts on the AW tells its own story. He posted one of his better efforts last time out but cannot be confidently nominated as one that will build on that performance.
