Horse silk
100/1
First run for the yard, five-race maiden on the Flat and tough to build a case suggesting he'll start over jumps any different.
2
Horse silk
100/1
Arakan gelding makes racecourse bow in this, from a shrewd yard and trainer knows how to get one ready so any market support would be noted.
3
Horse silk
16/1
French import makes first appearance on these shores, boasts useful form on the Flat in native land and a notable jockey booking for this.
4
Horse silk
Charle Bruneh,t14
Age: 4|  Weight: 11-7| J: Paul Townend| T: T Shanahan
66/1
Ran well enough for a long way at Fairyhouse earlier this month on racecourse bow before fading out of it. Scope to do better.
5
Horse silk
100/1
Attained a decent level on the Flat in four runs without winning, first run in this sphere after more than a year on the sidelines.
6
Horse silk
100/1
Tame effort on second start over hurdles at Punchestown on New Year's Eve, never threatening and gives him a lot to do to get involved now.
7
Horse silk
Dandy Mag177
Age: 4|  Weight: 11-7| J: Ruby Walsh| T: W P Mullins
11/10
Well related French import has decent bumper form in the book before joining champion trainer and likely to prove popular in the market ahead of Irish debut.
8
Horse silk
66/1
Shaped with some promise for a long way on Leopardstown bumper debut last month before fading, trainer in good form ahead of hurdles bow.
Trainer/jockey combination ensure this Kalanisi gelding is worthy of a second look in the betting before he makes his racecourse debut.
10
Horse silk
100/1
Just the one previous run in a Thurles maiden hurdle over two-miles last month, quickly beaten and finished tailed off.
11
Horse silk
Lachares21
Age: 4|  Weight: 11-7| J: Donagh Meyler(3)| T: Miss Ellmarie Holden| OR:  109
5/1
Shown some promise in two most recent maiden hurdle runs, including at Thurles last month where hit the frame for second time. Going the right way.
12
Horse silk
Leomar21
Age: 4|  Weight: 11-7| J: B J Cooper| T: G Elliott
7/1
Beaten favourite in both maiden hurdle outings to date, going very close on debut before a bit disappointing at Naas last month when not finding as much as had looked likely.
13
Horse silk
100/1
Newcomer and likely to face a stiff enough task on first trip to the racecourse. Others make more appeal.
14
Horse silk
33/1
Modest winner on the Flat, improved effort second start over timber at Limerick in December and could have further scope for more to come.
15
Horse silk
Successor21
Age: 4|  Weight: 11-7| J: M P Walsh| T: J P O'Brien
25/1
Bit to find with Leomar on last month's Naas meeting, going the right way however and respected for young trainer building his reputation.
16
Horse silk
11/2
Huntingdon bumper scorer was keeping on well at the line on hurdles bow last month at Naas, just over two-lengths off Leomar at the line. Can improve on that run.
17
Horse silk
33/1
Has run in tough races both starts over hurdles and not especially taxed in them, should be more to offer in time.
18
Horse silk
Bracklin Princess7
Age: 4|  Weight: 11-0| J: D E Mullins| T: T Cleary| OR:  102
10/1
Filly looks capable based on previous runs in this sort of company, clear signs of ability and should make her presence felt.
Fair bit to find with couple of these on Naas run last month, that was her first start over jumps so entitled to come on for it.

Horse silk
Pahaska14
Age: 4|  Weight: 11-0| J: Jack Kennedy| T: G Elliott
14/1
Likely to be ridden prominently and while hasn't quite managed to see things out just yet, no surprise to see more improvement for trainer in form.

15:40 Gowran Park - 18 February 2017 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

DANDY MAG is well-related and has some promising French bumper form to go on ahead of his Irish debut. Given his connections, he's likely to prove very popular for this and should give a very good opening account of himself. Leomar went very close on debut but his finishing effort at Naas last time was just a bit underwhelming and stablemate Pahaska might be the better of the two from that yard today. Bracklin Princess is showing signs of ability and could take a hand in the finish while Bold Emperor is another French-bred with interesting claims on his first start in this country, particularly give the jockey booking. Theydon Park should improve on last month's jumping debut while newcomer Diego Manchego would be respected if the market suggests he's ready to hit the ground running. 1. Dandy Mag 2. Bold Emperor 3. Pahaska
