Yet to race under Rules and makes his debut here having run three times in Irish point-to-points finishing runner-up on his latest start.
Half-brother to smart hurdler Hawk High and the yard are 6/27 in bumpers this year and given his pedigree and yard he makes plenty of appeal on his debut.

Dam (Miss Emer) won three times over hurdles. Just the one outing so far in a Down Royal bumper where he finished well held and will have had to have improved to take a hand here.
Half-sister to MIlly Ballo who runs earlier on the card and her dam (Taraballo) won over both hurdles and fences. Yet to run under Rules and makes her debut for a yard with no bumper winners in the past 12 months.
From a yard that have a good strike-rate with their bumper runners in GB and are 3/9 with the runners in bumpers here over the past five seasons. Gave some encouragement on her sole outing so far at Thurles in December looking as though there was something to work on for the future when finishing fourth but essentially needing the race. Could well improve with that run under her belt and more expected on her second start.

One of two runners in the race for this stable with this Arcano gelding being a half-brother to Flat winners Double Discount and Plot Twist. Stable have a 24% strike-rate in bumpers over the past five seasons and he must be respected.
A very rare runner in bumpers for one of the powerhouses of Northern Flat racing (only two runners in this sphere since 1997). First foal by Soldier Hollow with the dam being winner on the Flat in Switzerland. Given connections he deserves respect on his debut.
Could well be the second string of the yard who do well in this sphere and also run Brecon Hill. Half-brother to six winners and worthy of respect so interesting to see how he goes in the market in relation to his stablemate.
First foal by Virtual with the dam being a winner on the Flat. Yard are in good form on the Flat of late and certainly know how to train over the jumps; 25% strike-rate in bumpers over the last five years.

Half-brother to a couple of winners on the Flat including the smart Hall Of Mirrors. Showed some ability when fourth on debut at Musselburgh behind and impressive winner in Beyond The Clouds.

Brother to bumper/hurdle winner Book At Bedtime and half-brother to another bumper winner in Delta Forty. Dam was also a winner in this sphere and he showed up well on his debut without really getting into the race on debut at Newcastle.

Third foal and a half-sister to the useful hurdler Scorpiancer. Just the one racecourse outing so far at Wetherby and looked badly in need of the experience on that occasion should be suited by the longer trip here but likely to need time.

Forecasts

Mountain Hawk (5/1), Red Ochre (5/1), M Seven Seven Gus (5/1), Golden Jeffrey (6/1), Indian Harbour (8/1), Brecon Hill (17/2), Rownak (10/1), Mistercobar (10/1), Teescomponents Lad (16/1), Gogo Baloo (25/1), Northern Girl (50/1), My Man Frankie (50/1)

16:40 Catterick - 13 February 2017 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

The Swinbank yard do well in bumpers and are well represented in this with two runners both unraced and it will be interesting to see which of Brecon Hill and Indian Harbour is stronger in the betting. However, it may be best to take a look at one of the Irish raiders from a yard that have a good record in bumpers in GB and around Catterick and side with M SEVEN SEVEN GUS. This one shaped well on her sole outing at Thurles and her experience may stand him in good stead. Mountain Hawk comes from a stable that do well in this sphere and is well related. 1. M Seven Seven Gus 2. Mountain Hawk 3. Brecon Hill
