Sole rules defeat thus far came when well held at a big price in a Grade 2 mares bumper at Aintree in april. Comfortable winner of her hurdling debut at Hexham two months ago and had a subsequent dual winner back in fifth that day. Looks the one to beat in this.
Signs of promise on bumper debut but well beaten on hurdling debut at Ayr last time out and yard has a poor strike rate for one of their standing at this venue (11 from 172).
Bumper winner who ran well to be fourth behind a decent rival at Doncaster last time out. Drop in trip not certain to help here but yard have a 25% strike rate from a limited number of runners here.
Well beaten in 3 point-to-points in the UK since switching from Ireland in early 2016. Probably best watched on rules debut following an eight month absence
Bumper winner on debut at Uttoxeter in june 2015. Well held on hurdling debut in november after a 12 month absence but shaped better when runner-up in a big field at Exeter with the third boosting the form since though the return to the likely soft ground that she disappointed on at Warwick is a concern.
Forecasts
Which One Is Which (11/10), Lastbutnotleast (2/1), Pomme (11/4), Haul Us In (100/1), Clovelly (125/1), The Queens Posse (200/1)
LASTBUTNOTLEAST can follow up her december Hexham success by defying a penalty to take this small field mares novices hurdle. The selection has won two of her three outings under Rules and has proven she handles the likely ground conditions and can make all to get the better of the promising Which One Is Which who put a poor hurdling debut behind her when second last time out but has been held up in her races thus far while Pomme can take third.
