One of the more experience runners in here, soundly beaten on three handicap starts since a head defeat on soft ground at Windsor in june. Finished third on this surface first time out and changed hands for 17,000gns since his last outing. Returning from a four month absence here.

Well held when beating just one rival home on debut last month, addition of a hood here should help him settle and top jockey takes over in the saddle. Interesting contender with yard going well at present.

Shown some promise in two outings thus far, both over further. Yard has a poor strike rate with three year olds here but drop in trip may well suit.

Solid debut at Newmarket in july but disappointing on two subsequent turf starts. Returned to form last time out at Lingfield and that form looks decent with the third going in since.

No signs of promise in two maiden outings so far including here in december. Likely to be one for handicaps.

Promising debut over CD in december though slightly disappointing last time out. Yard has been in the winners of late and interesting to see how he fares back at this venue.

100,000 Euro yearling and half-brother to dual winner Lord Kelvin. Interesting debutant with yard having a 17% strike rate in three year old maidens in recent years.

18:15 Kempton - 3 February 2017 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

In what doesn't look the strongest of contests the well bred TRICORN is taken to make a winning debut. With a number of these looking exposed enough it is Basheer who is taken to fill the runners-up berth, he showed promise on debut prior to weakening and the addition of the hood should help him settle better in the hands of his top jockey while Dark Destroyer showed enough on his synthetics debut to suggest he too can be competitive here. 1. Tricorn 2. Basheer 3. Dark Destroyer
