Sole success on the AW came at Lingfield in March 2015 in a Listed Fast-Track Qualifier, but plenty of time has passed since. His AW handicap mark has fallen from 89 to 79 since November due to a string of moderate performances. However, he wasn't beaten far at all at Lingfield by Make Music last week after meeting trouble in the run and could be returning to form.
Notched a quickfire Fibresand double (7f and 1m) in March 2016 for this rider from marks of 74 and 80, and was off the track from May until a return to Southwell earlier this month (finished eighth of 13). Likely to come on for that reappearance with strong stamina assured over this trip, and did win on Tapeta in the past for Tony Coyle (Wolverhampton).
Stayed on strongly inside the final furlong (stands side) when taking a C&D Apprentice handicap for Josh Quinn on Saturday evening, and is turned out quickly unpenalised. He can be expected to improve for that run (his first since late September), and will be very tough to beat.
On a hat-trick having scored twice over 7f at Southwell in the space of three weeks, including latterly from a mark of 68. 3lb higher today, and a switch of surface, but that is unlikely to be a problem given his solid efforts on Tapeta off a break over C&D in November, and when beaten by a short head at Wolverhampton prior to his winning starts.
Off the track since September 2016, and well beaten on his last two starts on turf. A four time winner on turf who has just his second AW start today, with the first being when finishing last of four in a Kempton nursery back in October 2013.
Maiden on the AW (dual winner on turf), and campaigned mainly at Newcastle since October 2016. His best run came in that month when beaten two lengths by Eastern Dragon, form which was just about matched last Saturday (in the first time visor) when finishing fifth and a similar distance behind that same rival. Capable of a bold show from a mark of 69.

It is very difficult to get away from the strong claims of the unpenalised SAFE VOYAGE who stayed on strongly to take the concluding Apprentices Handicap over C&D on Saturday evening. He can be entitled to come on for the run, his first since a short break, and it can perhaps be either So It's War or the hat-trick seeking Custard The Dragon which are the most likely dangers.

2. Custard The Dragon
