Found the soft ground at Chepstow against him last time out after winning on a decent surface on debut and likely to be susceptible again under a penalty and on testing ground.
Has a very interesting pedigree for a future over obstacles and if he has matured since his bumpers debut he could be a player in this.

Didn't show much in four point-to-point starts and trainer not renowned for bumper winners (0/24 in recent seasons).
4

Trainer 3/8 in bumpers at the track and fits hood to this one after a promising start to rules career at Wetherby at start of the month.

Should improve plenty for debut run last month and trainer's runners have a solid strike rate at the track (13/44 | 30% strike rate).
Pedigree suggests that chasing will eventually be his game but yard can strike first time up in bumpers (12/62 with runners on bumper debut) and worth keeping an eye open for any positive signs in the market.
Comes from an in-form yard (9/34 in past two weeks) and trainer has had bumper winners at track in recent seasons. Worth keeping an eye on the market for positive moves.

Well-beaten on debut at Uttoxeter but the front three in that contest have all franked the form since and there could be improvement to come from this one now they've applied headgear.

Fancied on debut last month but disappointed to finish a well-beaten 8th. Should have improved for the outing, however, and not out of things here.

Unbeaten in three point-to-point starts although did bomb out in between those runs in an Irish bumper. Has changed yards since so better can be expected here.

Bumper debut for a yard that isn't renowned for winning in this sphere (0/28 in recent seasons) and hard to fancy.

Trainer has strong record with bumper runners at track (5/17 | 29% strike rate) and can have them ready first time out. Of definite interest here.

Well down the field in Huntingdon bumper in November and needs to show a lot more here to be involved.

Forecasts

Ballygown Bay (11/4), Duke Debarry (4/1), Talkischeap (9/2), Cirano De Sivola (13/2), General Malarkey (15/2), Allez Jacques (12/1), Mister Drifter (16/1), Black Anthem (20/1), Potters Hedger (25/1), Potters Story (28/1), Free Friday (33/1), Drewmain Legend (66/1), Captain Jack (100/1)

16:20 Warwick - 26 January 2017 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Warren Greatrex has wasted no time in applying headgear to CIRANO DE SIVOLA and it would be no surprise to see this one go one better than on debut last time out. Nicky Henderson has a fine strike rate at the track with his runners and his Duke Debarry commands plenty respect, as does Ballygown Bay from the Hobbs yard as the trainer does like to have bumper winners here. 1. Cirano De Sivola 2. Duke Debarry 3. Ballygown Bay
