Didn't get further than the first last time out when taking a heavy fall and should enjoy the strong pace in the race. Should like this kind of ground but has to prove he's no worse for the fall last time out.
Useful on his day and an effective front runner for Warren Greatrex but debut for this yard was poor and made a bad mistake that ruined his chance last time out. Looks handicapped up to and beyond his best form.
Still a maiden and another who likes to race close to the pace. Ran well for a long way last time and seemed to fail to go through with his effort. Trainer/jockey combination warrant respect but this handicap mark looks no gimme and hard to recommend.
Got off the mark in a Flat race on debut but hasn't managed to score since including ten attempts over jumps. May be a complicated type but this mark looks within his compass. However, trainer's had just two winners from 69 runners in the NH sphere over the past 12 months so may be best watched for now.
Won four of his last five now and clearly thriving for this yard. Running style makes it difficult for the handicapper to get a hold but he's had a fair go with an 8lb rise for his latest win and that may be just enough to stop him for now but can't be ruled on in current form.
Smart front-runner who has been in fine form recently. Faded on a track taht wouldn't suit last time at Doncaster and more at home back here where he scored over C&D two starts back. However, the 6lb rise and plenty of competition for the lead make this tougher.
Won well under this rider last time out and has progressed steadily since leaving William Haggas having won six times. Handicap mark still looks well within his compass and likely he will get the strong pace he desires again today.
Forecasts
Nietzsche (13/8), Jaleo (9/4), Italian Riviera (4/1), Thyne For Gold (8/1), Pillard (11/1), Alzammaar (33/1), Amanto (40/1)
NIETZSCHE has looked highly progressive since joining the Brian Ellison stable and there's every chance he could record another win here today provided they go a decent clip. Jaleo is another who should enjoy a strong pace provided he's no worse for his fall earlier this month. Italian Riviera has been in fine form of late and should remain competitive off this kind of mark.
