Impressive on two starts since moving to new yard, including a runaway victory in the mud at Ayr last week. Must defy a penalty for that win but looks to be improving and it's impossible not to be impressed with recent progress.
Well beaten on both starts so far this season, including a less competitive race than this at Chepstow last time. Really came into her around this time of year 12 months ago, however, and cannot be totally discounted.
Has won both starts over hurdles so far despite some disappointing recent form on the flat. This should prove her toughest test over jumps so far, however, but not impossible that there's more to come.
French import who won twice over there before switching to current stable. Somewhat disappointing in losing to Evening Hush on both starts so far, though this represents a major drop in class from a Listed contest last time, and should go close on her handicap debut.
Forecasts
Litterale Ci (1/1), Whizzzey Rascal (11/8), Owners Day (8/1), Hope's Wishes (16/1)
It was impossible not to be impressed with Whizzzey Rascal when she won at Ayr on heavy ground last week, but some of her rivals disappointed that day and she must overcome a rise in the rates. In any case, this looks to be between her and LITTERALE CI, who narrowly failed to win on her British debut at Exeter before losing to the same horse in a Listed race at Aintree last time. In a much easier race, she can get the better of Gordon Elliott's progressive mare. Owners Day, unbeaten over hurdles so far, looks most likely to chase them home.
