Impressive winner on his hurdles debut at Carlisle and carries the mandatory 6lb penalty for that success. The gelding stayed on in good style near the finish on that occasion, giving the impression that the extra weight may not be an issue just yet. Had earlier created a good impression in a point-to-point and looks to have a bright future.
Has an affinity with the track having won his maiden over the course last time by 11L and was also successful here in a bumper on debut under rules. His stable is in flying form and a big run is expected.
Has finished in front of a combined total of only two horses during his last two starts. With such uninspiring form, he looks one to leave alone for now.
Not one to trust implicitly but may do better when he tries fences in the future, if his solitary start in point-to-points is anything to go by. Place claims at best.
Improved to win between the flags on his final start in Ireland before he joined his current yard. However, he was unfancied on his debut three weeks ago and, as he ran accordingly, he may be one to just watch for now.
Not much to inspire the imagination from her form under rules and the fact that she is now with her third trainer within a year hardly bodes well and raises more questions than it answers. Not hard to leave out of the backers book here.
Forecasts
The Worlds End (1/4), Testify (9/4), Midnight Queen (12/1), Presiding (12/1), Big Chip And Pin (16/1), Kaiden Michael (33/1), Dirty Dexter (40/1), Elav (40/1)
This appears to be almost a straight match between Testify, who did absolutely nothing wrong on his debut over hurdles and certainly catches the eye as one to follow from here, and THE WORD’S END, who has a touch more experience and possibly more crucially, has shown a liking for racing at Chepstow. The latter is also proven over the trip so just edges the vote on this occasion. Kaiden Michael heads the list of contenders to fill the frame.
1. The Worlds End
2. Testify
3. Kaiden Michael
