Trainer has a good record with his first-time runners here and this lightly raced sort makes just his second handicap start here. His handicap debut showed plenty of promise in a race where he probably did too much too soon and back to a more suitable trip here. With an American dirt pedigree he could well step forward again here.

One decent effort to show so far in eight races - that came in a Lingfield turf handicap in August over 1m2f when only beaten ½ length by odds-on favourite. Not shown much since in three outings including one here in December over 1m3f when she finished last of nine on her debut for the yard. Later reported to have had a breathing problem after that run. This should show a little more about her ability.

Form so far has an uneven feel about it and the cheekpieces go on here for her second start in a handicap. Ran to a fair level when third at Lingfield but looks more exposed from maiden company than some of these and more improvement is needed on fibresand debut.

Despite being a maiden handicap one or two of these have shown some promise in their recent runs and it could be a reasonable event of its type. Warm Words showed plenty of that promise when she was second in a nursery here before Christmas and she makes her debut as a three-year-old here; likely to be of warm order. Dancin Alpha has had enough chances in handicaps but looks capable of another sound effort, especially with the blinkers going on for the first time. Amongst the bigger prices, Pacommand comes from a stable that does well here and he’s of interest. Overall though ZORAVAN is the pick and looks to have further improvement in him being a lightly-raced sort and coming from a yard do well here especially with their first-time runners on the surface. 1.
