Three time C&D winner with a further three placed efforts to his name but probably off a mark a little high in the weights now at this stage in his career.
Progressive handicapper in 2015 (won five times) and got back to form on his fourth start this year when winning at Wolverhampton. Upset the odds-on High Command at that time and the yard is in excellent form. Performed with credit on first go over this trip last time and may be able to build on that.
Unplaced on last six starts and has had an interrupted career of late. Well being to prove but jockey booking is a positive and has run okay over C&D in the past.
Fallen a long way in the weights but with good reason, unplaced on last 15 starts. Tailed off on many of those occasions and new set of headgear failed to do anything last start. Has it all to prove.
Performed okay over this distance last time out but suspicion is she's better over a bit shorter and her handicap mark looks fair but high enough for now. Good second to Aurora Gray last time out.
Inconsistent type who has finally got her act together on her last two starts. That was an impressive performance and some of the sectional times were fast for stayers of this grade so she may just be able to go in again.
Forecasts
Aurora Gray (6/5), Miss Tiger Lily (10/3), El Campeon (11/2), Winter Spice (9/1), Saborido (14/1), Wordiness (16/1)
AURORA GREY defied a 5 lb rise last time and scored with the minimum of fuss. She looks set to defy her 6 lb penalty here. It may feel like deja vu as Miss Tiger Lily can followed her home again. El Campeon may still have more to give over this trip and warrants respect.
1. Aurora Gray
2. Miss Tiger Lily
3. El Campeon
