14/1
Delivered on opening promise when decisively winning Cork maiden hurdle, respected but must give weight away all round here.
2

6/1
Sprung a huge surprise landing the odds at 66/1 on Navan debut, appeared to be no fluke in that run and deserves his chance in this.
3
Horse silk
33/1
Big step forward on bumper run to win Down Royal maiden hurdle over two-miles, showing game attitude in doing so. Runner-up has done the form no harm subsequently.

4/11
Delivered in good enough style on hurdles debut at Clonmel without blasting his rivals away. Connections greatly respected but this could be a good race.

Boasts the most experience but slight worry he comes here off a fall, dropping in trip and with plenty pace on, he'll have to have his hurdling technique in order.

Well held by Crack Mome on Clonmel form, where under pressure some way out before staying on well. Since dotted up at Limerick but surely held by old rival here.

Forecasts

Crack Mome (4/11), Any Second Now (6/1), Runfordave (9/1), Dr Mikey (14/1), Coquine D'aunou (18/1), Calino D'Airy (33/1)

14:10 Punchestown - 14 January 2017 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

An intriguing six-runner field where none are easily ruled out. CRACK MOME obliged without muss fuss on his Clonmel debut and runner-up Coquine D'aunou has since landed a facile Limerick success to frank that form. Hard to see those placings reversed here. Run For Dave took a fall last time out and with the drop in trip, he has questions to answer on his fourth hurdles start. Any Second Now was a shock debut winner and, while he did it well, Dr Mikey potentially rates a bigger danger if permitted a handy lead. 1. Crack Mome 2. Dr Mikey 3. Coquine D'aunou
