67 rated, and penalised for sole success from 14 starts (last six for this yard) coming on the Tapeta in a seller at Wolverhampton in October just three weeks after a good run in a Class 6 nursery at Newcastle. Not quite so good since, but both starts here have been in better races than this.
Absent since his racecourse debut in May, when sixth of nine in a much stronger race at Windsor. Questions to answer, but down in grade with the cheek-pieces applied for the first time.
Last of four on Fibresand debut over 6f recently (Pulsating third), and tried without success at 5, 6, and 7f so far. Drops in grade, with Newbury third in October (recent Newcastle winner second) giving him every chance at this level if suited by cheek-pieces.
Maiden after eight starts but just about has the beating of Pulsating on their form at Newcastle in October, Not quite so good since, but this is a drop in grade for Fibresand debut.
Twice runner up during a nine race juvenile campaign, including when behind a Mark Johnston trained rival over further most recently at Musselburgh in September. Experience of the AW, but first run on Fibresand.

This is a weak seller, but PULSATING has been largely consistent in six starts for Ali Stronge since moving from Rebecca Menzies, and is worth another chance on Fibresand at this lowly level. However, it may well be that Western Presence can confirm Newcastle placings from October if able to handle the switch to this tricky surface.
