2/1
Impressive winner of a Grade Two on his latest start. Only defeat this season came when ridden with restraint. Rumoured to be one of the the yards top novice hurdlers and out to advertise his Cheltenham claims. Stable have won four of the last eleven runnings of this race.

Third in the 2014 Racing Post Trophy for Sir Mark Prescott. Interesting recruit to hurdling ranks but highly tried for his debut.

Winner of a minor race at Bangor last time despite showing signs of greenness. This race requires him to show considerably more.

Has shown a good battling attitude to win both starts over hurdles. Beat a highly regarded sort last time and not without a chance at this higher level.
5

11/10
Impressed when beating some nice horses at Hereford on his debut for new yard. This is obviously much harder and the drop in trip is a concern but he does look an above average horse.

25/1
Asking a lot to win this on his hurdling debut. Point-to-point form in Ireland does not look good enough either.

Forecasts

Finian's Oscar (11/10), Capitaine (2/1), Chalonnial (8/1), Charlemar (8/1), Global Stage (25/1), Celestial Path (33/1)

CAPITAINE impressed when landing a Grade Two at Ascot last time under a positive ride. That form suggests he can add to his yard's successes in this race at the expense of Charlemar. He is an honest sort who has done nothing wrong so far and his game attitude will force the selection to be at his best to win this. Finians Oscar looked a horse with a bright future when scoring at Hereford but the shorter trip could leave him exposed to the speedier types in this lineup. 1. Capitaine 2. Charlemar 3. Finian's Oscar
