Showed he retains ability with two good efforts this term. Still handicapped well below the marks achieved at his peak and another bold show can be expected.
Not disgraced on his reappearance against an improving and well handicapped mare. Will come on for that run and represents a yard that had four winners on this card two seasons ago. Sure to be tough to beat.
Plummeting down the weights and indicative of how poorly he has performed of late. Switch to hurdles unlikely to help against this level of opposition.
Forecasts
Isaacstown Lad (11/4), Morning Royalty (3/1), Desert Cry (10/3), Only Orsenfoolsies (9/2), Back To Bracka (9/1), Pistol (14/1)
ISAACSTOWN LAD made into a useful staying handicapper last season. He looked as though he would improve for the run at Bangor last time and shaped well to finish third to Nordic Nymph who went to score impressively at Kempton last week. This looks easier and he is taken to score for a yard that do well here. Desert Cry comes into this in good heart and the form of his latest win has been franked by the third. He rates a danger whilst Morning Royalty looks best of the rest.
1. Isaacstown Lad
2. Desert Cry
3. Morning Royalty
