Fairly useful 2m chase winner but hasn't returned in much form. Bit to prove.

Point winner who made it third time lucky over hurdles on his reappearance at Hexham (2m, soft) in October. Solid opener in this sphere when finding just one too good in Aintree handicap (2m, good) later that month and he's a major player with improvement likely. Tongue strap added.

Finally got off the mark at Wetherby (15f) in March and all the better for return when resuming winning ways at Ludlow 19 days ago. Can give another good account

Off the mark over fences at Hexham (15.6f) in May and acquitted himself well in defeat since, shaping better than bare result on heavy ground at Cartmel when last seen in July. Seems best away from testing conditions.

Progressive form over hurdles last season, making a winning handicap debut at Market Rasen on Boxing Day before good second at Southwell in the spring. Interesting chase debutant (successful on second of 2 starts in Irish points).

Improver over hurdles last season, ending his campaign with a pair of handicap wins over 19.5f at Huntingdon. Below par both starts this term, however, and goes chasing with a bit to prove.

SPADESTEP couldn't live up to his billing as a strong favourite on his chase bow at Aintree but still shaped very promisingly behind Jordans Cross (declared 12.25 here) and is fancied to go one better. Point winner and progressive hurdler Inishnabro looks an interesting newcomer to chasing, while Rumoursareflying warrants respect having won 2 of his last 3 starts.
