Bounced back to form returned to hurdles, finishing third behind a pair of subsequent winners at Kelso in October. However, subsequent Musselburgh effort represented a step in the wrong direction and She's Notjoeking is presumably the stable first-string.

Scored 5 times during fine 2023/24 season, culminating in a career-best display at the Aintree spring festival. Well below par in 5 outings last term, but he has tumbled down the weights and there were better signs when third of 11 over 20.4f on return here last month.

Low-mileage Irish raider who produced his best effort yet when fourth in big-field Navan handicap last time. Likely to do better still at some point, but this mark looks challenging and a return to 2½m would probably be ideal.

Opened account for Dan Skelton in Worcester handicap chase when last seen in August 2024. However, he didn't show much over hurdles for that yard and is opposable returned to this sphere for new connections following 14 months off.

Winner on the Flat at Newcastle in February and bettered previous hurdles efforts when runner-up in 2m Wetherby juvenile 8 days later. Has undergone a wind op and he's one to be interested in off what looks a fair mark for his handicap debut in this sphere.

Placed on sole Flat start in France and has shown ability in this sphere, not least when fourth of 12 on return/handicap debut at Perth (2m, heavy) in October. Too keen upped to 19.5f here since and could be a threat back down in trip off 2 lb lower with the hood refitted.

Ended last season on a bit of a downer but has made the frame all 3 starts in handicaps this season, including when third of 14 over 19.5f here last month (Platin Moon and Kellie's Dream behind). Should benefit from drop back to this trip and she's a strong each-way candidate.

Little impact sole start on the Flat and hasn't troubled the judge in 3 qualifying runs over hurdles. However, there was clear promise when fourth on penultimate start in a Gowran maiden and this Irish challenger is in good hands to progress now pitched into a handicap.

Dual hurdles winner for Andrew Slattery in Ireland and has made the frame on a couple of occasions for present connections, including when third in Carlisle mares' handicap on final start last season. Looked in need of the run here (19.5f, soft) on return and she's edged down to a dangerous mark.

CUMBERLAND RIVER and Scotland The Brave are both of strong interest on their handicap debuts in this sphere and they could be the pair to concentrate on. The latter was beaten by a useful juvenile on his latest start in this sphere in February and is greatly respected. Still, marginal preference is for Cumberland River, who could be open to a bundle of improvement for his top Irish yard and is armed with a handy 3-y-o weight allowance. Kellie's Dream and She's Notjoeking are others to consider.
