Began last term with a bang, runner-up on return prior to going one place better in 2m handicap hurdle back here in November. Exploits proved mixed over both hurdles/fences during first half of this year so interesting what the market makes of him starting out for new stable.

Low-mileage 5-y-o who opened his account in a Haydock maiden (21.2f) in March and improved further despite some less-than-fluent jumping when good second of 9 in handicap hurdle at Kelso (22.7f) in April. Remains with potential starting out for new yard and definite claims after 6 months off.

Recent Flat efforts nothing to get excited about and having been easy to back, he ultimately fared no better in a first-time visor (retained here) when ninth of 12 in handicap hurdle at Perth (20.2f, good to soft) 37 days ago, finding little. Others more persuasive.

Improved upon returning from a break during the spring, suited by the increase in trip when making it 2 wins from last 3 starts in 11-runner handicap hurdle at Bangor (23.1f, soft) in April. Merits respect from 4 lb higher mark on return/following a breathing operation.

Landed a brace in maiden/novice company and offered some promise on his reappearance/handicap debut at Aintree this time last year but hard to draw many positives from subsequent displays in that sphere and well held in pair of Flat starts since returning from a break this summer.

Breakthrough success for this yard at Perth in spring of 2024. However, essentially struggled during 2024/25 campaign and always behind when ninth of 11 in handicap hurdle at Hexham (20.1f, good to soft) in May. Absent since.

HIGH DANCER ended his time with James Ewart on the up, finishing a good second in a Kelso handicap when last seen in the spring. A low-mileage who could well rate higher still, he's fancied to make a bold bid on debut for his new yard. Glen Road finished last term on a high and he's a threat if ready to roll following 6 months off, as is Williethebuilder on his best form.
