Very useful sort. Best effort for current connections came when narrowly denied in 8.5f Epsom handicap on soft ground in May and now gets similar conditions for the first since. Should be competitive.

Produced a really smart effort when winning the Group 2 Joel at Newmarket on soft ground last year. Hasn't come close to reproducing that level this season but could fare better now tackling going softer than good for the first time this year.

Soft-ground course debut winner at 2. Firmly back on the up with a comfortable 2¾-length win in 1m Doncaster handicap in September. Possibly stretched by an extra 1f when a below-par sixth in the Cambridgeshire since and respected now back at 1m.

Firmly on the up when winning a pair of 7f handicaps (including on heavy) over 3 months apart. Shaped better than seventh of 15 suggests when stepped up to 1m for a French listed race recently. Remains capable of better.

Treble Tee is taken to bounce back to form returned to 1m and provide the main threat ahead of Prague, who could step up on this year's efforts now back on a softer surface.
