Smart hurdler but remains with only a solitary success (maiden hurdle back in 2021) over jumps. Underlined his consistency with another creditable effort when fifth in the Grade 1 Stayers Hurdle at Punchestown in May. Eye-catching second in this race last year and should go well again.

Made an impressive winning jumps debut in 8-runner juvenile hurdle at Punchestown last season but has been held back by his tendency to race keenly, as was the case on Flat handicap debut at Roscommon last time. Could yet be capable of better in this sphere but needs to learn to settle.

SIXANDAHALF made a striking impression on her first two starts over hurdles and remains with plenty of potential in this sphere. She should take the beating, providing the ground doesn't become too testing. The admirably consistent Colonel Mustard finished an eye-catching second in this race last year and won't be inconvenienced by any rainfall, he's the clear next best, while Wendrock was a useful juvenile hurdler but will need the emphasis to be on stamina over this sort of trip.
