Beaten on long way on three starts to date, thirteenth of 15 in novice hurdle at Downpatrick (17.8f, good to soft, 200/1) 34 days ago. First run for yard after leaving Noel C. Kelly and will need to improve significantly with cheekpieces on for first time.

Two-time point winner, latest in March 2025. Caught out for speed on bumper/Rules debut but showed an aptitude for hurdling when third of 14 in novice hurdle at Kilbeggan (16f, good) on hurdles bow 48 days ago. Entitled to build on that now upped in trip but may prove one for handicaps.

Half-sister to smart hurdler/very smart chaser Beauport. Off mark in points at second attempt (Feb 9) but proved a let-down in a bumper at Cork (16f, good to soft) on NH debut. Should be better suited by this test on hurdles bow but may need more time (first start in a tongue strap).

Strong in the betting and left her hurdling debut form behind when second of 8 in novice hurdle at Tipperary (16.4f, soft) 17 days ago, closely matched in the betting but unable to live with promising stablemate. Will need to jump better but she's a definite player back up in trip.

€52,000 3-y-o, Kingston Hill mare. Wide-margin winner of sole Point start in April but shaped as though probably one for later on when eighth of 10 in novice hurdle at Listowel (22f, good to soft) on NH debut 32 days ago.

Didn't cost much and showed little when thirteenth of 14 in novice hurdle at Kilbeggan (16f, good, 50/1) on NH debut 48 days ago. Up in trip with plenty to prove.

Modest maiden on the Flat. Third over 2½m on hurdle debut and took a step forward when second of 10 in novice hurdle at Killarney (17f, good to soft, 7/2) 18 days ago, despite being unsuited by drop in trip. One to consider stepping back up in distance.

Showed a bit more on first run since leaving Gerald Stephen Quinn when fourth of 12 in novice hurdle at this course (20.2f, good to soft) on hurdles bow 21 days ago. Would need to build on that.

Timeform
Solid bumper performer made an encouraging hurdle debut last season. Off for 5 months prior to finishing fifth of 18 in novice hurdle at Listowel (16f, good to soft, 10/1) 28 days ago but expected to improve stepping back in trip with that run under her belt. Solid claims to get off the mark here.

Improved on debut for new yard when runner-up in a handicap at Listowel (18f) and matched that form when second in a 16-runner novice at Roscommon (20.2f) 24 days ago, going with enthusiasm but carrying head awkwardly under pressure. Claims if she can put it all together.

Runner-up in a maiden over the summer but ran no sort of race when pulled up in novice hurdle (80/1) at Roscommon (20.2f, good to soft) 24 days ago, pulled up early final circuit. Something to prove now.

Cheap purchase given her pedigree and offered something to work with in bumpers, latest fourth of 9 in bumper at Naas (16f, good to soft) in April. Makes hurdles debut over a longer trip and merits respect, especially if the market speaks in her favour.
|
Timeform
Plenty of quality in her pedigree and stepped up on previous bumper efforts when at Galway last month. Faced a tough task in a listed bumper (66/1) at Gowran last time but should appreciate the step up in trip now hurdling. Worth a market check.

£60,000 4-y-o. Dam (c128/h108), 2m-2½m hurdle/chase winner, closely related to fair hurdler/fairly useful chaser (stayed 2¾m) Miss Sassie. Won sole start in points (May 2025) and betting should offer plenty of clues on Rules debut with yard also saddling Two Pair.

Solid bumper performer LAU AND SHAZ has shown promise over hurdles and may be able to open her account stepping back up in distance on second start of the season. Music Of Life might not be the most straightforward but remains one to consider following back-to-back runner-up finishes for her new stable. Jazzy Rock and Clarnagh Maid could both improve stepping back up in trip, while the market should guide expectations regarding the hurdling debutantes.
