Reliable type who landed a second success in mares' handicap hurdle when making all at Newton Abbot in May. Has performed well off a break previously and with few miles on the clock, she should give another good account on her return.

Runner-up sole start in Points and only narrowly denied at Ayr (20.4f, heavy) on Rules debut. Bounced back to form under a more positive ride in a first-time tongue strap (retained) when a close second at Market Rasen (16.6f, good to firm) in April. Could improve in handicaps following wind surgery.

Won on hurdles debut/return at Exeter (16.7f) this time last year. Didn't build on that immediately but got back on track following a breathing operation when runner-up at Warwick (21f) in May (form has taken a few knocks). Back over 2m and respected in her bid to make another winning reappearance.

From a good family but unable to justify support on debut at Wetherby in February (having needed the run) and only ran to a similar level when runner-up in a mares' novice at Newton Abbot (following 7 months off) last month. In top hands and open to improvement now handicapping on better ground.

Caused a shock when winning at 66/1 on hurdling debut at Worcester in June but well beaten in subsequently, virtually refusing to race on the Flat prior to trailing a 6-runner field at Newton Abbot 3 weeks ago. Questions to answer with headgear back on (also wears first-time tongue tie).

Off the mark in a mares' handicap at Hereford in December. Sent for home too soon when fourth at Huntingdon and confirmed that promise when narrowly denied on return to Hereford (19.7f) in March, again not looking straightforward under pressure. Capable but will need things to fall right on return.

Solid effort on debut third over C&D (heavy) in January, runner-up a next time out winner. Hasn't built on that (well held on good to firm ground here in April) but Sean Bowen a positive jockey booking on handicap debut and she's one to note for support.

Shaped better than the result at this course prior to winning at Ludlow (21.2f) in November. Solid form when third at Wincanton but jumped left when midfield at Hereford (21.8f) in February. Will benefit from going left-handed again and 2m around this track could suit. Interesting contender.

Bred for chasing and has shown her best form over fences, winning a mares' chase at Ffos Las (19.4f) in March. Below form since and will need to improve despite racing off a 5 lb lower mark back over hurdles.

Placed in points and left previous Rules form behind when narrowly prevailing on handicap debut at Bangor (19.6f, heavy) in February. May have needed the run on better ground at Uttoxeter last month and should be closer to form with regular tongue tie refitted (races from 2 lb out of the handicap).

Forecasts

Roaring Home (5/2), Princess Keri (10/3), Sweet Caryline (7/2), Olivia Kate (7/1), Jackeline (15/2), La Belle Argentee (11/1), Volakes (14/1), Just Her Type (16/1), Chosen Bae (18/1), Conniemak (28/1), Sophie Power (50/1), Chelsea Annie (100/1)

17:30 Chepstow - 10 October 2025 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Very competitive but it could pay to take a chance on OLIVIA KATE who had some solid form in mares' handicap company last season and should appreciate the return to a left-handed track. Dan Skelton's La Belle Argentee could be the improver tackling better ground for the first time on handicap debut, while Roaring Home made a winning reappearance last season and was back to her best when runner-up at Warwick in May. Handicap debutante Just Her Type is another to note following wind surgery.
