Dream More23
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-7| J: D Allan| T: T D Easterby
7/2
Dream Ahead colt who is related to numerous winners and he shaped up well first time out when third of 8 in a C&D maiden 23 days ago, keeping on well from the rear. Appeals as the type who could step up considerably on that and respected from handy draw.

Twice-raced gelding. Seventh of 8 in maiden at Pontefract (6f, good, 50/1) 7 days ago, never better than midfield. Looks more of a long-term/nursery type.

66/1
Twilight Son colt who was held back by inexperience when tenth of 11 in novice at Pontefract (6f, good to soft) on debut 26 days ago. May well be suited by longer trips in due course and he looks one for the longer term.

Foaled February 8. €7,000 yearling, Dandy Man colt. Solid start when third of 4 in novice (9/2) at Musselburgh (5f, good) in April, headed last ½f and no extra late on. Open to improvement back from a break and he's shortlisted for stable firmly amongst the winners.

9/4
Promising type. Second of 10 in novice (6/4) at Doncaster (5f, good) 21 days ago, finding only a class dropper too strong. Remains the type to do better, not least when tackling 6f but respected with this stiff finish expected to play to his strengths.

9/2
Fair filly. 9/2, fifth of 7 in nursery at Hamilton (6f, good to firm) 26 days ago, weakening last ½f. Return to the minimum trip will hold no fears but she may well prove vulnerable to less exposed sorts again back in this company.

11/2
Lightly-raced filly who has yet to finish out of the frame, producing her best effort yet when very good second of 8 in maiden at this C&D (good to firm) 15 days ago. Player with a repeat for all her draw could have been kinder.

Ardad filly who hasn't threatened in 2 starts to date, albeit finishing closer than on her debut when sixth of 8 in maiden at this C&D (good to firm) 15 days ago. Will have nurseries as an option on the back of this and they promise to be more suitable.

Forecasts

U S S Charleston (9/4), Dream More (7/2), Dandy Speed (7/2), Arduis Invicta (9/2), Star Noir (5/1), Mossvale Diva (11/2), Rotokura Belle (16/1), Maximum Velocity (66/1), Twilight Serenade (66/1), Trucial Pearl (100/1)

14:15 Beverley - 13 August 2025 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

DANDY SPEED showed plenty of ability when finishing a close-up third on debut in a Musselburgh novice back in the spring and, remaining with potential back from a break, he could be the answer for the in-form Charlie Johnston stable. U S S Charleston is an obvious threat on the form he's displayed to date and rates next best. Dream More and Mossvale Diva complete the shortlist in the opener.
