Expensive recruit from the Irish pointing field who made a successful switch to handicap company at Sandown (2m) in December. Good second in 20.5f novice at Plumpton next time but below par last 2 outings, including after a 12-week break back at aforementioned Sandown last time.

Dual winner over hurdles in 2022 but hasn't shown much for some time.

Ran below form all 3 starts last season but has slipped appreciably in the weights and may fare better now returned to less testing ground following a break.

Clicked in blinkers last summer, completing a hat-trick at Hexham in June. However, raced lazily when disappointing all 3 starts since and has plenty to prove returning from 7 months off.

Well backed and in process of running well when falling last in handicap hurdle at Hereford (19.7f, good) on final outing in November. Has left Paul Nicholls but has joined another good stable. Interesting.

Shaped as if back in form on first run since leaving John Cornwall after 5 months off when third of 12 in handicap hurdle (33/1) at this course (20.4f, good) 21 days ago. Merits consideration back down in trip.

Out of sorts since 2022 and ran badly after 8 months off when pulled up at this course 3 weeks ago. Mark continues to fall but has plenty to prove, nonetheless.

Took advantage of reduced mark when winning handicaps at Warwick and Worcester (both 2m) at the start of last season. Ran below form at Hereford on final outing in November but could get back on track after a break.

Took another step forward when landing 2m Catterick maiden hurdle in February. Into handicaps now and should have more to offer.

GRIVETANA was in the process of running creditably when departing at Hereford on her final outing for Paul Nicholls 6 months ago and, having joined another good yard since, she's put forward as the answer. Wolfburg may do better still now venturing into handicaps, while Elham Valley shouldn't be taken lightly having shaped as if back in form before the lack of a recent run perhaps told here 3 weeks ago.
