It was great to see some star names on show at Dundalk on Monday and while Romanised was a shade disappointing in third, I'd say Joseph O'Brien's juvenile winner later on the card, Isle Of Sark, is a name you'll be hearing plenty about in the future.
As for today's it's a relatively mundane winter card and the weather is pretty rotten to be honest.

The key to this one's chances is that he's down a little bit in class here into a 0-65 from a 0-75. He ran well here just nine days ago and is a dual winner on the Flat, as well as being rated 122 over hurdles - a full 60lb higher than his current Flat mark.
He didn't have the gears of the opposition last time but it was a return to form and he's been dropped 3lb. He represents good each-way value in a race in which Punters Poet may well take a bit of beating.
