Runner-up on hurdles debut at Sedgefield last month, exceeding expectations given his decline on the Flat (useful 2-y-o winner for Ralph Beckett), but couldn't seal a race that looked his to lose, collared late having wandered run-in. Sets the standard on that showing nevertheless.

Fair maiden on the Flat. Offered a bit in 3 of these races for Harry Derham but well held back on the level for another new yard at Newcastle 4 weeks ago. Headgear back on and looks vulnerable.

Modest handicapper on Flat (stays 16.5f), successful twice on AW in early-2025 but well below form last 2 starts. From the family of fairly useful hurdler (winner around 2m) Pivot Bridge, so worth a look.

Fairly useful Flat winner in Ireland and also third on hurdles bow/final start for Joseph O'Brien at Tipperary in July (plenty of mistakes). Well beaten in 2 runs for new yard in August, including back over hurdles at Cartmel latest. Headgear left off now.

Fairly useful maiden on Flat, suited by step up to 1¾m though carried head awkwardly when good third in handicap for new yard in first-time tongue tie 3 weeks ago. Considered on hurdles bow.

Fair 7f ex-Irish maiden at her best in 2025. Jumped ponderously and soon behind fitted with a tongue strap on hurdling debut for new yard at Catterick last week.

It could be worth chancing KEYBOARD on his jumps debut. He gave a good account first time up for Adam Nicol on the level recently and plenty of the yard's hurdlers have been running well. Arctic Voyage sets a clear standard on his Sedgefield second, though that must go down as a missed opportunity. Max Comley's first two 3-y-o hurdlers to have made the track this autumn have been winners so French Diablo must be worth a look.
