Sole success gained in a Clonmel maiden hurdle for previous connections 2 years ago. Hit-and-miss for current yard but put in a good shift when runner-up here (20.4f, good) on latest start in November and each-way shout now upped in trip, provided he's fully tuned-up.

Several creditable efforts in Ireland for Colm Murphy but safely held both starts for new yard since returning from a break in April. Hopes pinned on first-time cheekpieces helping to spark a return to form.

Underwent a wind op during the winter and bettered previous efforts back from a break last month in novice events over 2m/2½m at Hexham. Shapes as though this stiffer test will be in his favour, so worth a second look now pitched into a handicap.

Fortunate to score over fences at Uttoxeter in September and hasn't really threatened since, for all that he wasn't disgraced when fourth in a 10-runner handicap hurdle here (25.8f, good) in February. Absent since and now tried in cheekpieces.

Paced in handicap hurdles over this C&D and at Perth following a wind op last summer. Understandably shaped as though in need of the run back from 10 months off at Hexham but, even so, it's hard to ignore the fact that he's 0-16 in this sphere.

Caused a major surprise (80/1) when scoring at Worcester last July, and repeated the trick reunited with Charlie Price (aboard again here) over 2½m at the same course last month, belying odds of 50/1. However, this 8 lb higher mark could be a stumbling block.

Scored at Doncaster in February and, though poor here next time (pulled up), he got back on track when third of 10 off 1 lb higher at Haydock (24.3f, good to firm) in April. Has since undergone a second wind op and reproduction of latest effort would give him a fighting chance.

Placed 3 times in 2022, most recently when going close at Hexham (23.3f, soft) in November. Now 2 lb below that mark but his jumping went to pot at Warwick last time and needs to bounce back here following a wind op.

Improved upon joining Alex Hales in 2021, winner of a 23.3f Hexham handicap hurdle and solid placed efforts next 2 starts. Mixed bag since but would be a danger to all off this reduced mark if the return to this sphere does the trick following a 6-month break.

Only one win from 27 starts over hurdles, namely a C&D handicap back in July 2020. Placed both starts in this sphere at Worcester last summer but this 11-y-o is probably worth taking back from a 9-month absence.

Placed on 3 of her 4 starts in bumpers but hasn't shown much since switched to hurdles. Has undergone a wind op/changed yards since latest appearance in February and she's 5 lb 'wrong' at the weights upped in trip here.

ABINGTON PARK's stint over fences wasn't particularly successful but he's of strong interest returned to this sphere off an attractive mark, and with conditions in his favour. This step up in trip could be a good move for handicap debutant Jimvale and he is second choice ahead of Doors Breaker, who didn't do much wrong when third at Haydock last time. Stripe of Honour needs more up 8 lb for his Worcester success and, like Tommydan (creditable though his latest effort was), he looks vulnerable.
