Improved markedly in two quick starts this term, winning Curragh maiden (1m) before narrow victory in Premier Handicap at Navan (1m2f) last time. This is the natural step up and is on the shortlist.
Fastnet Rock gelding. Defied slow start and greenness when 20/1 winner of debut at Navan (1m5f) last month. Entitled to step forward but this represents another improvement.
Behind smart sort on debut effort and markedly improved when easy winner of 1m2f maiden at this track last month. Obvious scope to progress again and closely matched with his rivals.
Australia filly out of a Danehill mare. Off the mark at the third attempt in 1m2f maiden at the Curragh last month. Might be one for handicapping in time and thrown in the deep end in this company.
Held leading claims for her debut effort and exceeded expectations when nice winner of Roscommon maiden (1m2f) last month. This is another step up but looks to be a classy sort.

It looks to be an up-to-scratch renewal of this contest and plenty stake claims on paper. Degraves is the only Group-race winner in the field and looks the obvious pick of the Joseph O'Brien-trained trio but has a hefty absence to defy. Preference is for his stablemate GALILEO CHROME, who missed an engagement in the Ballysax Stakes at the weekend to take this up. His maiden-winning form has produced a Derby winner and a Group 3-second, so he obviously has some talent and looked as if this trip would be his optimum. Other place claims can be made for the duo of Delphi and Numen - who won with something to spare at this venue last time - while Zenya may be on the upgrade but is inexperienced.
